"c.  This subprogram provides $10,000,000 in the second year from the general fund to expand the retiree health care credit to retired non-instructional personnel.  This appropriation would provide payments to local school divisions for the state share of the Standards of Quality fringe benefit cost of the retiree health care credit for these non-instructional positions."


Explanation
(This amendment provides an estimated amount for expanding the retiree health care credit to non-instructional school employees. Actual costs will be based on valuations yet to be determined by the Virginia Retirement System.)
