"B.  The Secretary of Natural Resources shall review all available federal funding through the Conservation and Reinvestment Act, the Land and Water Conservation Act, the Magnuson Fisheries Conservation and Management Act, the Sportfish Restoration Act, and any other federal funding programs available to the Commonwealth for land or water conservation efforts, and shall report his findings to the Chairmen of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees by December 1 of each year.  The report shall include an evaluation of such federal programs available, including requirements for state or local matching funds, along with recommendations for maximizing allocation of all such funds to the Commonwealth.  The report shall also include an evaluation of the funding needs of the Virginia Marine Resources Commission, including recommendations for the replacement, repair and maintenance of equipment for the Virginia Marine Patrol."

Explanation
(This amendment requires the Secretary of Natural Resources to examine all federal funds for land or water conservation available to Virginia and report to the Chairmen of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees.)
