Explanation
(This amendment deauthorizes the portion of the capital project to improve public access for canoeing on the Rapidan and Rappahannock Rivers. The use of the agency's dedicated special revenue for canoeing access is counter to Board policy. In addition, no suitable sites were identified.)

The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries shall improve public access for canoeing along the confluence of the Rapidan and Rappahannock Rivers near Fredericksburg and the Phelps Wildlife Management Area in Fauquier County. For this purpose, $25,000 the first year from dedicated special revenue is appropriated.
