"B.  No later than December 1, 1997, the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries shall negotiate and obtain a public access agreement from the Norfolk Southern Corporation for the canoe site at Taber.  In consideration therefore, the Department may extend to Norfolk Southern, in writing, the protection afforded landowners granting access across their property to historical and recreational sites pursuant to §29-509(e), Code of Virginia.

Explanation
(This amendment provides funds for construction of a canoe and small boat access on the Staunton River at Taber.)
