Page 25, line 11, following the first "$110,000" strike the remainder of the line, and insert:
"per year from July 1, 1996 to January 16, 1998, and $124,855 per year from January 17, 1998 to June 30, 1998."

Explanation
(This amendment establishes the salary of the Governor elected in 1997 at 111 percent of the salary paid to a cabinet secretary. This is the same ratio as existed in 1993.)
