Explanation
(This amendment provides $84,500 from the general fund and 2.0 FTE positions each year to the Division of Capitol Police to provide security services in the new Library of Virginia. A companion amendment to Item 249 transfers these funds from the Library of Virginia.)

Out of the amounts for Security Services shall be paid the annual salary of the Chief, Division of Capitol Police, $63,926 from July 1, 1996, to November 30, 1996, $66,707 from December 1, 1996, to November 30, 1997, and $68,041 from December 1, 1997, to June 30, 1998.
