Authority: Discretionary Inclusion.
A. Out of the amounts for Interstate Affairs may be paid from the general fund the annual assessments to the:
1. Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations, $8,794 the first year and $8,480 the second year;
2. National Association of State Budget Officers, $18,300 the first year and $19,000 the second year;
3. National Governors' Association, $128,698 the first year and $133,757 the second year;
4. Southern Governors' Association, $9,300 the first year and $9,300 the second year;
5. Southern Growth Policies Board, $44,864 the first year and $44,864 the second year; and
6. Federal Funds Information for States, $4,000 the first year and $4,000 the second year.
B. Out of the amounts for Interstate Affairs, $150,000 shall be available in the first year for hosting the 1997 Annual Meeting of the Southern Governor's Association. Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, the June 30, 1997, unexpended balances shall be reappropriated for expenses associated with the annual meeting.
