Page 441, line 12, strike the ";" and insert ".  It is the General Assembly's objective to achieve parity between the state reimbursement rate for a state employee's use of a personal car on state business and the rate allowed by the federal Internal Revenue Service for tax purposes;"

(This amendment increases the mileage reimbursement rate for state employees from 24 to 28 cents per mile for up to 15,000 miles of personal car use on state business, and from 11 to 13 cents for over 15,000 miles. Further, language establishes the objective of reaching parity with the mileage rate allowed by the Internal Revenue Service, which currently is 31 cents.)
