Explanation
(This amendment increases the mileage reimbursement rate for state employees from 24 to 28 cents per mile for up to 15,000 miles of personal car use on state business, and from 11 to 13 cents for over 15,000 miles. Further, language establishes the objective of reaching parity with the mileage rate allowed by the Internal Revenue Service, which currently is 31 cents.)
