§ 3-3.01 PAYMENTS BY STATE AGENCIES FOR DATABASE SALES
Contingent upon passage of legislation by the General Assembly to create Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 48, Code of Virginia, creating the Virginia Information Providers Network Authority, as an authority and instrumentality of the Commonwealth, state agencies shall deposit to the general fund of the state treasury revenue from the sale of electronic public information data in the estimated amount of $748,200 on or before June 30, 1998. This estimated amount is based on retention of the proceeds of such sales as follows:
Department of Motor Vehicles to retain the full amount of net sales
All other agencies to retain 50% of net sales, with the remaining 50% deposited to the general fund of the state treasury
