Explanation
(This amendment provides $350,000 in the second year from the general fund to increase state arts grants, administered by the Virginia Commission for the Arts. The amendment also establishes the objective of funding the commission on a one dollar per capita basis. Current funding equals about 47 cents per resident of the state.)
