A. Pursuant to Chapter 322 of the 1994 Acts of Assembly, and Chapter 320 of the 1998 Acts of Assembly, deposits to the Game Protection Fund (§ 29.1-101, Code of Virginia) include an estimated $13,635,320 the first year and $13,635,320 the second year from revenue originating from the general fund.

B. Pursuant to § 29.1-101.01, Code of Virginia, the Department of Planning and Budget shall transfer such funds as designated by the Board of Game and Inland Fisheries from the Game Protection Fund (§ 29.1-101) to the Capital Improvement Fund (§ 29.1-101.01) up to an amount equal to 50 percent or less of the revenue deposited to the Game Protection Fund by § 3-1.01, subparagraph N., of this act.

C. Out of the amounts transferred pursuant to § 3-1.01, subparagraph K., of this act, $881,753 the first year from the Game Protection Fund and $881,753 the second year from the Game Protection Fund shall be used for the enforcement of boating laws, boating safety education, and for improving boating access.
