A. Out of this Item, $463,800 the first year and $111,690 the second year from nongeneral funds is provided to purchase a Financial Management System.
B. Out of this appropriation, $100,000 from the general fund shall be used to modernize patient medical records technology at Virginia's veterans care centers. Allotment of this appropriation shall be contingent upon the department collaborating with the Secretary of Technology to pursue a multi-source procurement. This procurement will ensure interoperability and be consistent with federal standards for the electronic exchange of health information.
