A. Out of this appropriation shall be paid the annual salary of the Chief, Division of Capitol Police, which shall be within the range of $80,000 and $100,000 from July 1, 2006, to November 24, 2006, $83,200 to $104,000 from November 25, 2006, to November 24, 2007, and $83,200 to $104,000 $86,528 to $108,160 from November 25, 2007, to June 30, 2008.
B. Included in this item is $653,285 the first year and $726,050 the second year, which shall be unallotted until such time as a staffing and compensation plan for the Division of Capitol Police is approved by the Joint Rules Committee.
C. Included in this appropriation is $71,295 the first year and $160,735 the second year from the general fund, which shall be unallotted until such time as an additional position class or other career development plan for the Division of Capitol Police shall be approved by the Committee on Joint Rules.
