The Virginia Port Authority is authorized to purchase straddle carriers (407-16962) at a total estimated cost of $7,000,000. The Authority may participate in the Master Equipment Lease Program for the purchase of the equipment. The annual lease payment, estimated at $1,123,329, shall be paid from port special fund operating revenue (0200). The Director of the Department of Planning and Budget may establish a capital project for this equipment purchase.
