A. This Item contains $1,203,000 in supplemental funding for the expansion of the Norfolk Residency shop/office. The new projects in this Item total $5,070,000.
B. The Department of Transportation may construct a Staunton Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and engineering facility. The estimated cost is $845,000. The Director, Department of Planning and Budget, may transfer to this facility $400,000 from the “Shenandoah Valley Smart Traffic Center” project, included in the Virginia Transportation Development Plan. The remaining funds may be transferred within this Item, or from any of the department’s capital projects.
