A. The Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services is hereby directed to expend out of the general fund appropriation under General Food Inspection a sum sufficient to enable the Board to perform the work in connection with apple spray residue which is necessary to enable commercial apple growers of this state to meet the requirements of the federal and state pure food laws.


B. Each establishment under the authority of the Regulation of Meat and Poultry Products Wholesomeness that is requesting overtime or holiday inspection shall pay that part of the actual cost of the inspection services.


C. Out of the amounts for Regulation of Meat and Poultry Products Wholesomeness, $10,000 the first year and $10,000 the second year from the general fund shall be appropriated for the inspection of ratites.
