Out of this appropriation, $1,347,215 from the general fund and $3,152,785 from nongeneral funds in the first year and $21,191,944 from the general fund and $3,477,922 from nongeneral funds in the second year is designated for public school construction and renovation. The nongeneral fund amounts are to be transferred from the Literary Fund pursuant to Item 554 D. In addition to the amounts made available in this item, $50,500,000 from the general fund in the first year and $30,330,134 from the general fund in the second year shall be transferred from Item 554 to this item for purposes of providing financial assistance to localities for public school construction and renovation.
