Authority: Discretionary Inclusion.
1. The Compensation Board is hereby authorized to reduce appropriations for constitutional officers in Items 72, 73, 74, 75, and 76 of this act by a total of $4,011,751 the first year and $4,011,751 the second year, so that those appropriations more nearly reflect actual expenditures.
2. It is the intent of the General Assembly that the reduction herein shall not impact the authority of the Compensation Board in § 14.1-51, Code of Virginia, to fix and determine what constitutes a fair and reasonable budget for any constitutional officer.
