Authority: Title 3.1, Chapters 6, 9, 23, and 26, and Title 61.1, Chapter 4, Code of Virginia.


A. The appropriation for Mined Land Reclamation and Regulation includes annual membership dues to the Interstate Mining Compact Commission, $11,500 the first year and $11,500 the second year, from special funds.


B. Out of the amounts for Mined Land Reclamation and Regulation shall be provided reimbursement for expenses associated with administrative and judicial review when so ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction.


C. Out of the amounts in Land Management shall be provided $750,000 the first year from federal trust funds, to the community of Brushy Ridge in Dickenson County, for the restoration of water supplies disrupted due to underground mining activities.
