Authority: Title 63.1, Chapters 1 and 6, Code of Virginia.


A. The amount for Aid to Families With Dependent Children shall include:


1. From the Federal Trust Fund, $103,425,995 the first year and $99,802,197 the second year.


2. From the general fund, $97,909,405 the first year and $94,478,895 the second year.


B. The amount for General Relief shall include from the general fund, $4,857,000 the first year and $4,857,000 the second year.


C. The amount for Resettlement Assistance shall include from the federal trust fund, $5,870,634 the first year and $5,870,634 the second year for refugee resettlement.


D. Out of this appropriation, $100,000 the first year and $100,000 the second year from the general fund is allocated to support two programs in the cities of Richmond and Norfolk and the County of Chesterfield to assist AFDC families and their children to improve school attendance and performance. The Department shall submit annual status reports to the Governor and the Chairmen of House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees.
