Explanation

(This amendment provides $300,000 from the general fund each year pursuant to the passage of House Bill 1002 of the 2022 General Assembly Session which designates carpal tunnel syndrome and other repetitive motion injuries as an injury by accident under the Workers Compensation Act. This amendment provides administrative funding to support the implementation of the policy change. A companion amendment in central appropriations provides funding for the impact of the benefit change.)
