Page 521, after line 24, insert:

"D.  The Virginia Worker's Compensation Commission shall prepare a report on (i) the extent to which workers' compensation insurers, including those employers who are self-insured, are making compensability determinations and notifying workers of their decisions in a timely manner after receiving notice of work-related injuries and diseases and (ii) actions taken by the Commission to ensure the timeliness of these decisions.  The report shall be delivered on or before June 1, 2023 and June 1, 2024 to the Chairs of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance and Appropriations Committees."
