Explanation

(This amendment establishes a temporary step-down in aid program at the Department of Housing and Community Development to support individuals with three months of rental assistance, after federal Emergency Rental Assistance funds are dispersed. It also provides $20 million of remaining federal American Rescue Plan Act funds in each year to support the program.)
