"B. Out of this appropriation, $300,000 the first year and $300,000 the second year from the general fund for the burial fees for any spouse or surviving spouse of an active duty member or veteran of the United States Armed Forces buried at a veterans cemetery operated by the Department."

Explanation

(This amendment provides $300,000 from the general fund each year pursuant to House Bill 1044, which would authorize the department to for burial fees for any spouse or surviving spouse and an active duty member or veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces at a veterans cemetery operated by the Department.)
