The amendment would support funding for a total of 20 full-time cybersecurity trained special agents and civilians to implement the statewide Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan, enhance statewide preparedness and prevention of cybersecurity attacks, operate the Virginia Cybersecurity Operations Center in collaboration with partners and stakeholders to include VDEM, VANG, VITA and others to monitor open-source vulnerabilities; promote education and training; and coordinate with and support localities and other state agencies to mitigate and investigate priority cybersecurity intrusions.)
