Included in the appropriation for this item, $100,000 the first year and $100,000 the second year from the general fund support the establishment of training standards for law-enforcement personnel regarding the recognition, prevention, and reporting of human trafficking consistent with the provisions of House Bill 283 of the 2022 Session of the General Assembly."


(This amendment provides $100,000 from the general fund each year for the Department of Criminal Justice to provide training standards to law enforcement personnel regarding human trafficking, pursuant to House Bill 283. This amendment is a placeholder until a fiscal impact statement for the bill is provided.)
