(This amendment allows individuals with traumatic brain injury to access services for substance use disorders, community crisis intervention services and drop-off centers. Data indicates that individuals who suffer traumatic brain injury are at high risk of developing mental health problems. Individuals with brain injury and behavioral health/psychiatric/substance use disorders have difficulty accessing the public safety net services administered through the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS).)
