Explanation
(This amendment provides $2,319,170 the second year from the general fund for the required deposit to the Corrections Special Reserve Fund, to reflect the projected adult corrections bedspace impact of Senate Bill 986. As introduced, this bill would result in the requirement for an additional 101 state-responsible prison beds by FY 2011. This amendment is contingent upon final passage of Senate Bill 986 by the 2005 General Assembly.)
