"F.  Out of these amounts, the obligations set out in § 59.1-392 D4 through § 59.1-392 D6 of the Code of Virginia shall be funded fully.  An amount up to $262,250 the second year shall be transferred to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University to support the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.  An amount up to $87,500 the second year shall be transferred to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for the Virginia Horse Industry Board, and an amount up to $87,500 the second year shall be provided to the Virginia Equine Center Foundation."


Explanation
(This amendment provides $153,250 GF to fully fund commitments made to the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine ($262,250), the Virginia Equine Center Foundation ($87,500), and the Virginia Horse Industry Board ($87,500). The request supplements amounts already included in SB 700 to achieve the statutory commitments.)
