Explanation
(This amendment allows all public institutions of higher education to address capital repairs, renovations, and construction costing up to $1 million through operating revenues. This language is the result of work by the Joint Subcommittee studying the relationship between the state and its public higher education institutions and is consistent with the provisions of Senate Bill 1327/House Bill 2866, 2005 Acts of Assembly.)
