A. It is provided that, subject to implementation by the Superintendent of Public Instruction, no disbursement shall be made out of this appropriation to any locality in which the schools permit the sale of competitive foods in food service facilities or areas during the time of service of food funded pursuant to this Item.
B. This appropriation includes $1,579,220 the second year from the general fund for school breakfast supplemental payments to school divisions to support the Healthy Virginians Initiative in an effort to improve school nutrition, vending options, and physical exercise of school children.
