Language Page 482, after line 18, insert:"Out of the amounts for Financial Assistance for Cultural and Artistic Affairs, $100,000 the second year from the general fund is provided to the Rippon Lodge."
Explanation(This amendment provides $100,000 from the general fund in the second year to the Rippon Lodge. The Rippon Lodge is a one and one-half story home built in the early 18th century. It was built adjacent to the Neabsco Creek, a few miles upstream from its confluence with the Potomac River. It is the oldest known home in Prince William County. The lodge has been structurally stabilized and a "peel back" of the walls has been completed to reveal the interior layers of the structure. Additional funding would be used to restore the interior rooms to a finished appearance.)
