"I.  Out of this appropriation, $100,000 from the general fund the second year shall be provided to the National Rehabilitation and Rediscovery Foundation for a Movement Therapy Program for individuals with brain injuries and other neurological disabilities."

Explanation
(This amendment provides $100,000 from the general fund in the second year to continue grant funding for a Movement Therapy Program operated by the National Rehabilitation and Rediscovery Foundation for individuals with brain injuries and other neurological disabilities. The program was developed through a 3-year grant from the Commonwealth Neurotrauma Initiative. However, grant funding for the program will end in fiscal year 2005. Movement therapy assists individuals in regaining independence by combining physical, occupational and speech therapy, with a psychosocial component and learning skills through a bodily kinesthetic approach. The program will serve about 50 disabled individuals per year.)
