"VVV.  Effective July 1, 2005, the Department shall amend the State Plan for Medical Assistance to add the category of eligibility, as described in Section 1902(m) of the Social Security Act (42 USC§1396a(m)), for aged and disabled individuals with income levels up to 100 percent of the federal poverty line."


Explanation
(This amendment provides general funds and matching federal Medicaid funds in the second year to extend Medicaid eligibility to elderly and disabled individuals to 100 percent of the federal poverty income guideline. Currently, the monthly income limit for these individuals is equal to 80 percent of the poverty level.)
