Explanation
(This amendment increases funding to the Department of Health for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to hire an additional forensic pathologist position in the Central District office. The Central District is experiencing an increase in cases and complexity. An additional position is needed to provide timely expert autopsy service, court appearances and fulfill educational responsibilities.)
