Explanation
(This amendment provides almost $81,200 the second year to fund the costs of compensation and expenses of the 21-member Commission on Civics Education. The members shall be the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, four members of the House of Delegates, two members of the Senate, and ten non-legislative members with prescribed expertise in Civics-related studies or activities. Out of this request, $55,000 will pay for an hourly employee to provide staff support for the commission.)
