Explanation
(This amendment reduces the amount for Central Maintenance Reserve by $2.5 million from the general fund, which is required for critical maintenance projects at the VMI Barracks and the General Assembly Building. The increase in each agency's Maintenance Reserve allocation that was proposed in the introduced budget is proportionately reduced by 3.7 percent to cover the expense of these two projects.)
