Explanation
(This amendment provides an additional $800,000 in general funds in the second year for a revised total of $1.5 million for vocational-technical equipment. The distribution to school divisions shall be based on each division receiving a base allocation of $2,000 with the remainder of the funding distributed on the basis of student enrollment in secondary vocational-technical courses. Existing language specifies state funds received for secondary vocational-technical equipment must be used to supplement, not supplant, any funds currently provided for secondary vocational-technical equipment within the locality.)
