Explanation(This amendment provides $50,000 from the general fund in the second year to the Christiansburg Institute Museum and Archive. Funding would go to support the creation of the museum and archive. A collection and archive storage and service facility will occupy nearly 1,000 square feet as well as house the 4,000 documents and artifacts. The collection will be of interest to scholars, students, alumni, and community members who want to learn more about African-American education in Virginia.)
