Explanation(This amendment provides $50,000 from the general fund in the second year to the Army Historical Fund (AHF). AHF, established in 1983, is a charitable 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the American soldier. The AHF also serves as the official fundraising entity for the National Museum of the United States Army. Funds will be used to support the design and construction of the National Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.)
