Explanation
(This amendment provides $20,000 from the general fund in the second year to the Division of Legislative Services for the payment of per diems to the legislators who serve on the Virginia Housing Study Commission. Previously, the expenses associated with the work of the Virginia Housing Study Commission had been supported by a special fund appropriation provided by the Virginia Housing Development Authority. That agency is no longer able to provide that support to the study commission.)
