A. From the appropriation in this Item, $2,236,500 in the first year from the general fund is provided for the estimated increase in the operating costs of adult correctional facilities resulting from enactment, in the 2000 Session of the General Assembly, of House Bill 95/Senate Bill 168 and House Bill 383/Senate Bill 153.
B. The funds in this item shall be paid into the Corrections Special Reserve Fund, established in accordance with § 30-19.1:4 of the Code of Virginia.
