A. The Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services is hereby directed to expend out of the general fund appropriation under General Food Inspection, a sum sufficient to enable the Board to perform the work in connection with apple spray residue which is necessary to enable commercial apple growers of this state to meet the requirements of the federal and state pure food laws.


B. Each establishment under the authority of the Regulation of Meat and Poultry Products Wholesomeness that is requesting overtime or holiday inspection shall pay that part of the actual cost of the inspection services.


C. The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services shall not relinquish to the federal government any part of the Meat and Poultry Inspection Program under the provisions of the Talmadge-Aiken Act.
