A. Pursuant to § 28.2-1210, Code of Virginia, $100,000 the first year and $100,000 the second year from the general fund shall be allocated for projects to remove abandoned vessels, deteriorated structures and waterway obstructions posing a hazard to recreational boating and the natural environment in the Elizabeth River. Any unexpended general fund balances remaining on June 30, 2000, June 30, 2001, and June 30, 2002, shall be reappropriated. The appropriation reduction in this paragraph pursuant to Executive Order 74(01) is reflected in Item 543.05 of this act.


B. Included in this amount is $15,000 the first year from the general fund for removal of the remnant pilings at Wares Wharf that are a hazard to navigation, pursuant to § 28.2-1210, Code of Virginia.


C. The general fund revenues available for appropriation listed for the second year in Enactment No. 2 of this act include reversions in the amount of $2,397 from the reappropriations authorized in this Item.
