Explanation

(This amendment provides $50,000 the first year and $35,000 the second year from the general fund to support costs associated with hiring an actuary to support the work of the Commission on Unemployment Compensation. Specifically, the actuary would assess the impacts of annual adjustments to the weekly benefit of the UI Trust Fund solvency and employer tax rates.)
