A.1. Notwithstanding Item C-47 F.3. of Chapter 1283, 2020 Acts of Assembly, the Department of General Services (DGS) shall consider the property located in Central Virginia consisting of approximately 427.97 acres along Old Bon Air Road and Rockaway Road in the Midlothian Magisterial District of Chesterfield County, Virginia, having a street address of 1900 Chatsworth Avenue, Bon Air, Virginia, and further designated as Chesterfield County Tax Parcel No. 752713101100000, as a location option for a Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) Juvenile Correctional Center to be located in Central Virginia.
2. All costs incurred by DGS to perform the review in subsection A.1. of this Item shall be funded by the capital project for the Department of Juvenile Justice previously authorized in Item C-47 F.1. of Chapter 1283 of the 2020 Acts of Assembly, titled “Construct New Juvenile Correctional Center," and originally authorized in Enactment 1, § 1 A. of Chapters 759 and 769 of the 2016 Acts of Assembly.
